1. Prayer:
If you could please pray for the Volunteer's of Nightlight, that we would always do and say what is in the best interest of the people who need God and us. If you could also please pray for our safety and that we would be lead by the Holy Spirit.
2. Physically:
If you have a compassionate heart for the homeless and the less fortunate of our own community, if you are willing to get out and do the much needed and required work on the street's of Brisbane and the surrounding areas, then we would love to have you join the Nightlight Team and fulfill the goals you hope to achieve.
3. Financially:
As you know it would be impossible for Nightlight to even exist and be doing anything pro-active in our community without normal everyday people's financial support. Your donations go to the purchase and maintenance of the street vans as well as the operating costs of the Nightlight office. Please remember that the street vans are God's tools for us to make a difference in the lives of the most needy in our community. Even God can't move if His people are not obedient.
4. Clothing:
It is the everyday things that we take for granted that are the most needed by our friends on the street. Things such as jumpers, tracksuits, shorts, singlets, jackets and especially socks. Many people ask why socks? During the colder times it is the feet and hands that feel the cold first and our friends use the socks on both their hands and feet for warmth. It does not matter if the socks have small holes as they often use 2 or 3 at a time, each hole is covered by the next one. All the clothing that you donate to Nightlight is thoroughly washed before we give them out, as we want them to have the best we can give.
